What is the Kiwanis Club of Weston?
| The Club offers an opportunity for personal involvement in the leadership and
improvement of our community, the nation and world. As a group, members can achieve what individuals cannot do alone. Specifically, Kiwanis is a nonsectarian, nonpolitical service and philanthropic organization. It does not prescribe a way of life for others. It often does, however, acts as a forum allowing members to share information and recommend projects to help Weston become an even better place to live. |
What does Kiwanis do?
| Essentially the Kiwanis Club of Weston performs community service activities helping less fortunate residents, the Elderly, school children, and by making contributions to the work of other community organizations such as PTO, Scouting, EMS, Fire and Police Departments, etc. During the year, the Kiwanis Club meets each Saturday for breakfast at which time guest speakers and other events allow members to socialize and plan for future activities. Members prize the lifelong friendships formed being associated with the Kiwanis Club of Weston. To find out more about the Club please contact Harry Spencer, Membership Chair, via email. |
