Annual Weston Kiwanis Club Picnic- The picnic brought out many of the club's 105 members, their friends and families.
Bill Gentit receives a plaque of appreciation from Kiwanis President Fred Schneider and 7 former presidents. Bill was a former Weston Kiwanis president and secretary of 14 years. Bill and his wife, Shirley, are moving to Tennessee.  Click here to see more pictures!

Kiwanis provides funding to South End Community Center to establish the learning center and purchase 15 additional computers along with software upgrades for existing equipment. The community center has been serving the needs of local residents since 1989 under the sponsorship of Save the Children and the Bridgeport Y.M.C.A., with a variety of programs for seniors, and reading, math and computer skill building for children.

Serving the Children of the World
Kiwanians completed a major project loading 25,000 books for 3 libraries in the small Caribbean island of Tobago. A large number of Kiwanians, assisted by the Boy Scouts and the Key Club spent many hours in the bitter cold to complete this task. A photo of Jane Anglim-Young (the woman who single-handedly has done so much to provide the libraries for the children,) Bruce Swan and Fred Schneider president of the Weston Kiwanis Club are holding plaques that will be placed in the libraries.
