Tazewell Thompson Artistic Director of the Westport Country Playhouse
Tazewell Thompson who has recently been appointed Artistic Director of the Westport Country Playhouse talks to Kiwanians at the newly renovated and restored Playhouse. After the program, Kiwanians were invited to tour the wonderful treasure of Westport.

Weston Green-up Day
Picking up seamlessly were Millie Best left off were the members and officers of the Kiwanis Club, who were responsible for perpetuating, organizing, and facilitating a truly inclusive community wide Green-up Day. More than 100 of Weston's finest young people were involved this year, including a very large contingent from the WHS Key Club and the Weston Girl Scout Service Unit; numerous scouts from Boy Scout Troop 788, Troop 40 and Cub Scout Pack 75; and a various enthusiastic citizens-at-large.. Weston Kiwanis Club awarded Maryclare Foster, Weston High School senior, its Youth Service Award. Maryclare accepting the award from Kiwanis Vice President for Youth Services John Richard, right and Ellen Uzenoff, a member of the Board of Education, who recommended her for the Kiwanis Youth Award.
Maryclare has organized a youth group dedicated to helping patients at Norwalk's Whittingham Cancer Center. She has also volunteered to help collect clothes for the homeless, worked in the South Norwalk soup kitchen and helped teach Sunday school at St. Francis Church.  Click here to see more pictures!

Kiwanians Wood Splitting - The club splits and delivers over 30 truckloads of firewood per year to provide wood to those in need and to raise funds for philanthropic causes.

Weston Homecoming Pasta Dinner - The club held it's annual fund-raising homecoming pasta dinner at the Weston Middle School cafeteria. The evening was filled with lots of food and fun. This year's dinner was special. Nisan Eventoff, a resident of Weston for the past 13 years, entertained all the children.
